Welcome to Lupland’s Summer Activity Park!
Join us for a refreshing summer day by a serene forest lake in the heart of Lapland. Enjoy the peaceful nature, lake activities, and warm Finnish traditions at our Lupland Summer Activity Park. Whether you want to relax in the sauna, swim in the lake, try fishing, paddle a canoe, or glide on a SUP board, our park offers fun and easy-going experiences for all ages.
If the season is right, you may also get to taste wild berries straight from nature along the trails — a lovely little bonus that makes Lapland’s summer even more special. Your guide can point out common edible berries such as cloudberries (hilla), bilberries (mustikka), lingonberries (puolukka), and cranberries (karpalo), depending on the time of year and local conditions.
The excursion includes:
• Local guide
• Summer outdoor gear as needed (e.g., life vests for water activities)
• Sauna and relaxing time by the lake (sauna robes included)
• Swimming in the forest lake
• Fishing (basic guidance and equipment)
• Fish cleaning instruction if we catch fish — and we’ll cook and enjoy the catch over the campfire (if caught)
• Canoeing / paddling
• SUP boarding
• Kota (traditional Lappish hut) experience
• E-fatbikes
• Yard games & fun activities: Mölkky, darts (tikanheitto), and pétanque (petanki)
• Transportation to/from the activity park (from the starting point)
• Good instructions for all activities
• Sausage, chocolate, marshmallow and warm drinks by the campfire
Note: Please bring your own swimsuit

In this activity we have a minimum of 2 participants, but you can also book the activity individually upon your request. Feel free to get in touch and inquire about availability and pricing. The starting point for the excursions is Arctic Guesthouse & Igloos (address: Pappilantie 1, 97700 Ranua). Please remember to arrive on time, at least 15 minutes before the excursion's scheduled start time. If you require transportation, we can pick you up from the Ranua Resort Arctic igloos reception or Ranua Resort Safari House. Kindly get in touch well in advance if you need pickup service.
