Ranua Wildlife Park is a wildlife park specializing in Arctic and northern animal species, with a history of nearly 40 years. The spacious enclosures for the animals are located in the midst of the northern boreal forest, which is also the natural environment for most of the species residing in the park.
The wildlife park is open every day of the year. The changing seasons add an additional dimension to the wildlife park visit.
Ranua Wildlife Park is home to Finland's only polar bear and 50 other Arctic and northern animal species, totaling approximately 150 individual animals.
