Snowmobile to Ice Fishing and Campfire Dinner (Ranua, Lapland)

Duration: 5 hours (approx. 2 h snowmobiling total, 2 h ice fishing, 1 h dinner)
Meeting point: Arctic Guesthouse & Igloos / Lupland Adventures, Pappilantie 1, 97700 Ranua. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
Start with a guided snowmobile safari and ride to the ice fishing location on a frozen lake. At the lake you will try traditional Finnish ice fishing. The guide shows the full process from drilling the hole to fishing safely on the ice, and a hot drink is included. Dinner is served by the campfire at the fishing area (salmon soup or meat soup), with bread, a beverage and a sweet dessert. After the meal, ride back by snowmobile with the guide.

Important to know
Snowmobile drivers must be at least 18 years old and have a valid B-class driver’s license.
Self-liability in case of snowmobile damage is 980 EUR per driver per incident. By purchasing a 50 EUR waiver before the safari, the maximum self-liability is reduced to 150 EUR.
Children under 15 years old ride in a sled pulled by the guide.
Zero-tolerance policy regarding alcohol when driving a snowmobile.
Ice fishing is nature-based, so the catch cannot be guaranteed.
Please specify salmon soup or meat soup when booking.
Pickup
Pickup can be arranged from Ranua Resort Arctic Igloos reception or Ranua Resort Safari House. Please contact us well in advance if you need pickup.
